Mechansium Of Action:
Cefixime binds to the specific penicillin binding proteins which is present in the bacterial cell wall and inhibits the cell wall synthesis.
It is also initiating the autolytic enzymes that promote the cell wall lysis.

It is 65% bound to serum proteins.

It is metabolized in the liver.

It is excreted via urine.
